2-Acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propane sulfonic acid (AMPS) is a homopolymer and comonomer, the product is white crystalline powder, melting point of 185 ° C, with crisp acidity, with strong adsorption properties. Hydrophilic sulfonic acid groups are introduced into the polymer to impart hygroscopic water permeability and conductivity to fibers, films and the like. Can be used in paper industry and wastewater treatment. For paint modifiers, fiber modifiers and medical polymers.
